FFB Terlizzi (Italy)

The Fraternity

The Terlizzi Fraternity, the first nucleus and Mother House of our Institute, as well as a formation house for provisional brothers and sisters and aspiring clerics, was inaugurated on 30 May 1982, Pentecost Day.

Today, after 40 years, some 60 members, both consecrated and lay, reside here.

Our day, which begins and is marked by moments of community and personal prayer, culminates in the celebration of Holy Mass and ends with the Holy Rosary and Compline. The night vigil is a privileged appointment for us to give praise to the Lord for his benefits.

The doors of our Fraternity are always open to welcome all those faithful and friends who wish to share with us moments of prayer, work and fraternal life.

On a daily basis, we provide for the administration of our House, but above all, we are engaged in solidarity activities involving the collection and distribution of provisions, support for families, and running a canteen for the needy.

We periodically spend days of prayer and sharing with various groups that ask to spend time in our House; in particular, we follow our “Family of Bethany” with prayer sharing and catechetical insights.

We carry out missionary service in parishes and communities according to the needs that are presented to us from time to time.
